Shelby DeBord LCSW‑S, is a therapist, clinical leader, and firm believer that healing doesn’t have to feel intimidating. She’s known for helping people navigate life’s toughest moments with equal parts compassion, clarity, and humor the kind that makes you exhale and think, “Okay… maybe I can do this.” She’s the person who can hold space for your story, help you untangle the complicated parts, and still make you laugh at least once before the session ends.

She is passionate about helping others understand the “why” behind their patterns and helping clients navigate untangling the old and creating a new way of moving forward wether it’s childhood wounds, anxiety, trauma or self discovery about the person you want to become. Shelby’s style is warm, direct, and deeply collaborative. Her humanistic perspective and eclectic style utilizes a blend of EMDR, DBT and solution focused strategies because she doesn’t believe in one size fits all therapy; she believes in real conversations, real connection, and real progress. Her clients appreciate her ability to blend professional expertise with a comforting presence that feels both steady and approachable. Outside of work, Shelby enjoys gardening, experimenting with coastal‑fusion recipes, and spending time with her family and six dogs each of whom has a personality big enough to qualify for their own treatment plan.
